This has resulted in quite a few "dogs" making it into play instead of just being on the looting squad. Anybody else use this strategy? Has it worked for you? Still too early for me to see if it will produce any better results for me.
I've tried this with a few teams and have experienced good and bad results. Bad...i lose the first season or two, just takes awhile for them to get caught up. Good...After that watch their rise to fame as they begin to dominate the game.
One thing I'm still undecided on is if it is better to specialize an orc into a single position, or multi-task him in two areas. I have a team, still experimental, where I've taken all Level 1 orcs with high stats, trained them in their single position, and tried to see how they compare. So far, mixed results. Novice season was a total bust (8th place). Second season they did really well (1st), but there was a lack of talent to choose from and they really dominated. Third season was midling, although the did make it to 2nd, I think it was because the Looters stepped up the game and I got that extra armor on the second string!
So, please, let me know your results and see if we can make any generalizations.
